Alice in Wonderland - The Start

Dear Journal

If you have no idea where to begin, grab your favourite all time children's classic and draw every picture in that book. It doesnt matter how long it takes to complete, it doesnt matter how terrible it looks. It is a start, and the more you draw, the better  you will become. I am talking to myself here. 'You hear that lady!'

I have chosen ALICE IN WONDERLAND. I adore this story! :)

This was the first picture, and so i began with The white rabbit. It took me HOURS! I got up now and then, getting away from it for an hour or so at times, and when i came back, i often looked at it with new eyes and continued. When you look at the whole, and you find the shapes to things don't quite add up, don't be afraid to rub out. It will actually help you to keep working on form and achieving to get it right instead of leaving it at that and being like Aaaah its okay, when you know you can do it. So, if you want to erase, do it. Chances are you will get it right the second, third or fourth time and it will be highly satisfactory!
